Spreading holiday cheer with a few extra sprinkles

The holidays are right around the corner and it's time to start baking! Please contact me to place your holiday cookie orders. Wrapped cookie baskets make great teacher gifts (Sunday school teachers, too)! Below are a few of my past Christmas designs.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pictures of all the cookies I made last year and I'm kicking myself for it now! These are just a few samples and some shots of the holiday fun around our house at Christmas!
My wonderful 4 year old, who tries her hardest to at least get SOME frosting onto the cookies!
My adorable 2 year old (1 here)...who doesn't quiet get it yet...or does she?! ;)

I caught her eating frosting right out of the bag, so we made up the rule, "if it gets on your finger, you can lick it"...I think she took this a step further!

Christmas cookies for Santa...I love spending time in the kitchen with my girls! She's a pro already!

Bed of roses

My new favorite cake! Thanks to iambaker, I found this amazing new design and had to try it. This would be a gorgeous multi-tiered wedding cake, don't you think?

Underneath those adorable roses were 4 layers of delicious red velvet with cream cheese butter cream.  The best part about this cake is how easy it was! I am hoping I get an order for it again soon, I can't wait to make more!

Birthday girl

My oldest daughter turned 4 a few weeks ago and I had a great time with the Strawberry Shortcake theme. We had a little tea party with her and a few of her girlfriends.  The cookies are designed after each of the characters in the new show, and the cupcakes she requested were little strawberries.  It was a big success!!!

Weddings

It is wedding season and I who doesn't love celebrating with sweet treats?!  These are some cookies and a cake I did for a recent bridal shower. I can't wait to do the bachelorette party and wedding in July!!

Spring cookies

Spring is in the air and I have some new cookies to share with you.

These are the Easter cookies I made for my family, friends, and the girls' Sunday school teachers.

These are some more birthday cookie designs using glaze icing. It is a bit sweeter and softer than the royal icing I usually use, and has a slightly shinier finish. Very yummy!!!

Now that the summer is approaching, don't forget to order cookies for your child's teacher or class instructor! Cookies make great end of the year gifts!!!  Check out the cookies link to see my school designs.
